Most perfumes and colognes stored under the proper conditions can basically last forever. It all depends on the way the scents are stored AND the quality of the ingredients. If it is a high quality fragrance and is stored properly it will last MANY years. LIGHT, HEAT & AIR will destroy your perfumes!

NEVER store them in the bathroom because of the changing temps, and NEVER, EVER store them in your car. A good place to store bottles is in a cool dark drawer or closet or the coolest spot in your home. You can even store fragrances in a refrigerator. If they are in splash bottles make sure the top is air tight as air exposure will destroy the fragrance. There are many vintage scents that have been out of production for many, many years that are still selling today (for extremely high prices, mind you) that are still perfectly usable and are very highly sought after. Stored properly, a high quality perfume will not go bad with age, actually it will in fact get deeper & richer as it ages, just like a good bottle of wine does.

I have been collecting fragrances for almost 20 years now. I own hundreds of scents, and many of them are rare, vintage bottles, some over 30 years old that all are still in perfectly usable condition and smell wonderful, and when I wear them I always receive compliments on how good I smell.I’ve been looking for a new perfume for a while but cant seem to find one that lasts a long time. I liked Gwen Stefani’s G Perfume though thinking I’m not fifteen years old, the one from bath and body works, warm vanilla sugar, is $10.50 for the lotion and/or body mist NOT $20.00 just clearing that up. Haha but bath and body works is a great place to buy long lasting perfumes and lotions, so definitely go there. They also have vanilla noir, which is even stronger they also sale travel size items for around $3.50 each, in 3 oz. so you can throw them in your purse or bag or whatever spray it on you at least 10 times all over you body on top of your clothes.

Spray it above you head so it falls on your hair also and bath and body works is always have a sale, they are having a buy 3 get 3 free at the moment, so its very affordable if 10.50 sounds like a lot, keep in mind there is always a sale.I often wear ‘Beautiful’ by Estee and I also wore ‘Love Awakened’ made by Victoria Secrets until they discontinued it. My all time favorite is Cherish by the makers of Charlie. But that hasn’t been around for a long time. I don’t like too heavy of a scent, no musk.I have this Chanel 5 degree perfume and it sucks. The smell is good but the smell goes away in 10 mins!

I want a perfume that smells good and stays on for a quite a long time.I would say that oils are the best way to go. Try pink sugar if you like sweet things or try a bath and body works lotion called chocolate amber. The last one is OMG great smelling. Very nice, solid aroma to it. Tommy Girl is another one that is great smelling, very sporty, uncovered an unused but opened perfume bottle in my home the other day. The perfume is .25 fl. I’m wondering how long perfume can be kept after being opened while still retaining its scent, because I’m not sure if it’s good or not.DIOR Scents and Chanel work best for me. Just get a ride to a local Sephora/Beauty store and try some scents by puff’ing the tester in the air..not on your skin.. Secret: the more powerful it smells at the beginning , the longer it will last on your skin.
